What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safe Harbor Technician position at Pinellas County Sheriff's Office?
General Description
This position performs duties of a responsible nature related to the operation of Pinellas Safe Harbor shelter for the homeless and inmates reentering the community from the jail. Members work directly with Safe Harbor residents. Work is performed in accordance with Sheriff’s Office rules, regulations, and policies and procedures and are expected to work independently.
This position is scheduled for 8 hours, 5 days a week, with 2 consecutive days off. There is a day shift, evening shift, and an overnight shift. You must be able to accommodate all shifts.
Shift work required.
Qualifications:
High School graduation or equivalent diploma from an institute accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) or licensed as a degree granting institution by the Commission for Independent Education
Two (2) years’ stable work history
Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license
Consideration for this position requires a credit check
Salary : $42,000 - $69,000
