QUALIFICATIONS FOR PLUMBING HELPERS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7 - 10 years of commercial or residential experience
- Ability to install a complete plumbing system for both commercial and residential plumbing projects
- Ability to read and design blueprints
- Ability to interpret architectural diagrams
- Understanding of state and county regulations and building codes
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions as needed
- Leadership ability is a plus.
- Coaching and mentoring others is a plus.
Specifically, installing plumbing systems requires manual labor, including measuring, cutting, bending pipe material, and assembling valves, fittings, tubes, and appliances such as sinks. You may work in a variety of locations, as the nature of the job requires you to visit multiple sites.
The work can be both indoors and outdoors depending on the particular project and where the drainage systems are located. In some cases, you will work with a team, work on your own team, and work under a manager.
This position is a full-time position and may require you to be on-call during the day and/or night.
Education required:
A high school diploma or GED certificate is required. A certificate for a plumbing trade technical-vocational program or evidence of a formal apprenticeship program is not required but considered a plus.
To be considered eligible for a company vehicle, you will need a valid driver’s license for and to approval from the insurance company to drive company vehicles and operate company equipment.
Pre-employment screening such as a background check may be required as per Pinellas Plumbing LLC policy and employee handbook.
Pinellas Plumbing LLC is a drug-free workplace and requires all prospective employees to undergo a complete background check including a department of motor vehicle records check and drug screening.
