Assistant Manager of Warehouse Inventory, Tools and Equipment
Position Overview:
We are seeking someone with plumbing and warehouse experience to manage and oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast and at times slow-paced environment. This role is integral to maintaining efficient and sufficient inventory, supplies, tools, and equipment management, and ensuring timely order fulfillment of (plumbing materials, supplies, tool,s and equipment) for our field personnel.
This role’s primary responsibility is to provide support to our managers and field plumbers and make sure that they get the materials, tools, and equipment that they need to get the job done right the first time and all of the time.
Hourly wages range from $16 to $18. Applicants will need to provide references from previous work experience.

Qualifications
1. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
2. Strong knowledge of plumbing materials, supplies, parts, tools and equipment.
3. Previous experience using inventory management software
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills
5. Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment
6. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in inventory tracking
7. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
8. Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, is a plus.
Responsibilities
1. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to be our assistant warehouse inventory, tools, and equipment manager with a strong knowledge of plumbing materials, supplies, tools, and equipment and excellent inventory-tracking skills
2. Oversee the day-to-day management of a plumbing warehouse
3. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of plumbing materials, supplies, parts, tools, and equipment within our warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and fulfilling orders on time.
4. Fulfilling plumbing material orders for field personnel
5. Receive, inspect, restock, and organize incoming shipments of plumbing materials, supplies, parts, tools, and equipment.
6. Load and offload trucks
7. Knowledge in POs and creating PO#
8. Collaborate with our vendors and managers to prepare purchase orders to maintain the required inventory levels in a timely manner.
9. Prepare purchase orders and collaborate with our managers and suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels.
10. Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software
11. Pick, pack, ship, and deliver if necessary orders to fulfill Company requests
12. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
13. Various administrative responsibilities
14. Maintenance duties include keeping the warehouse and warehouse bathroom clean and orderly.
15. Assist in organizing and optimizing warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval
16. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
17. Help maintain and manage the inventory management system
18. Process purchase orders, returns, and refunds if necessary.
19. Arrange and track maintenance for fleet vehicles, tools, and equipment.
20. Previous knowledge of tool tracking systems for check-out and check-in processes of tools, equipment and vehicles.
This position requires manual labor, including measuring, cutting, bending pipe material, and assembling valves, fittings, tubes, and appliances such as sinks. You may work in a variety of locations, as the nature of the job might require you to visit multiple sites.
The work is primarily indoors; however, it will include working outdoors in our yard depending on the task involved. It will also include working on your own, on a team, and working under a manager.
This position is full-time.
Education required:
A high school diploma or GED certificate is required, a certificate for a plumbing trade technical-vocational program or evidence of a formal apprenticeship program is not required but would be a plus. Must provide a history showing your years of experience as a plumber. Knowledge of building and plumbing codes and the ability to understand building plans are also essential.
You may need a valid driver’s license for this position and be approved by the insurance company to drive company vehicles and operate company equipment.
