Role & Responsibilities

As a Construction Superintendent at Pinemar, you will be responsible for managing luxury home projects from pre-construction through final completion, ensuring that every detail meets our high standards. Your responsibilities include:

Project Oversight & Execution

• Plan, coordinate, and lead the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
• Manage site logistics, scheduling, and workflow, proactively addressing challenges to maintain efficiency.
• Oversee material procurement, inspections, and subcontractor coordination to keep projects running smoothly.
• Ensure adherence to architectural plans, design specifications, and construction best practices.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections, ensuring flawless execution and addressing any deficiencies with trade partners.
• Maintain a safe and organized job site, upholding OSHA standards and company safety policies.

Client & Team Communication

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, architects, and designers.
• Lead weekly or bi-weekly client and design team meetings, providing clear project updates.
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, documentation, and follow-up reports.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and team members, ensuring open and effective communication.

Leadership & Problem-Solving

• Mentor and manage on-site employees, trade partners, and labor teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Proactively identify and resolve constructability issues, maintaining efficiency and ensuring design integrity.
• Lead the submittal and shop drawing review process, ensuring accuracy before execution.
• Step in with light carpentry and hands-on support as needed to keep projects on track.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a seasoned construction professional with a deep understanding of luxury homebuilding and a solutions-oriented mindset.

• 15 years of construction experience with 5 years managing high-end residential construction projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades, maintain schedules, and uphold quality standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on client and team interaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel; experience with Procore and Smartsheets is a plus.
• A patient, service-oriented approach, ensuring an outstanding client experience.

Reliable transportation and availability for extended hours when necessary are required.
