Key Responsibilities
- Patron Services
- Ensure that all patrons receive excellent service, upholding the provisions of the Library Bill of Rights and other policies adopted by the Board.
- Assist patrons with reader advisory questions, provide reference services, and execute scheduled program activities on their shift.
- Provide assistance and training to patrons on the use of the library, online databases, and the Internet.
- Register new patrons and issue library cards.
- Circulation
- Familiarize yourself with the library collections and perform all circulation duties as required.
- Shelve materials accurately and neatly, process materials as directed, and mend worn or damaged materials when necessary.
- Sending overdue notices as directed.
