What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance I position at Pines Village Retirement Communities Inc?
Pines Village Retirement Communities is looking to add a Maintenace/Security team member to the night shift. Works effectively and efficiently to assist in maintaining, organizing and coordinating all aspects of the buildings and grounds maintenance and security for the overnight shift. Ensures Pines Village Retirement Communities, Inc. (PVRC) and all its’ properties are clean, safe and attractive environments to all those who reside, visit, and work here. Required to understand and respect confidentiality of personal and professional business of residents and other staff members. Need to possess a positive, willing and helpful attitude.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Previous maintenance, security and/or janitorial experience, preferably for retirement community, long-term care facility or apartment complex.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of floor and/or carpet maintenance and equipment; high school graduate preferred.
- Must be able to learn correct procedures/schedules, follow those procedures/schedules and to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess a valid State of Indiana driver’s license; have reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
- Certified in Cardio-Pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
