What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Pines Village Retirement Communities Inc?
Join Pines Village Retirement Communities, an independent retirement community providing apartment-like senior living to our residents. We celebrate life by enriching the lives of older adults. We are a non-profit senior living community in Valparaiso. Being non-profit means, we put people before profit. We are seeking compassionate dining servers to join our growing Dining team.
As a Dining Server you will be responsible for:
- Serving residents in a professional manner
- Maintain a professional demeanor and helpful attitude with residents and guests
- Following procedures and guidelines outlined by state and federal regulations.
- Understanding and having knowledge of menu selections and proper service
- Perform pre-service dining set-up and post-service clean-up
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service and server experience is preferred
- Have an excellent work ethic
- Have a Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain
This is a PRN position for days, evenings and some weekends.
