What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Sitter/Dog Walker position at Piney Paws Pet Services LLC?

We are in the peace of mind business. We provide peace of mind to pet parents who are busy working or traveling. We visit clients' homes and take care of their pets.
- Pay is a flat rate per client visit starting at $11.25 per 30 minute visit. (Opportunity for raise after 90 day review)
- EXTREME part time (0-5 hours/ week, can be more- cannot guarantee at this time)
Job includes:
- meeting with and communicating with clients in a professional manner
- feeding according to client instructions
- taking dogs for walks on sidewalks or trails,
- letting dogs out to potty/ play
- scooping litter boxes/ picking up poo
- providing medications
- lots of TLC and belly rubs
- watering plants/ collecting mail
- driving, driving and driving!!! (We go to the client!)
- check in and out of visits using our mobile app
- write nice, informative updates with pictures to let clients know how their pets are doing.
- working holidays and weekends on rotating schedule
- administrative tasks and client support

Requirements:
- commit at least 6 months of working with us,
- undergo a background check and training,
- have availability to work early mornings, weekends, evenings and holidays,
- must be based within our service area (Bastrop, Texas)
- reliable car, registered and insured
- age 25 drivers license
- smart phone with photo, video and GPS capability and know how to use it
- this is not seasonal work
- must be able to walk dogs in all weather (within reason)
- must adore all animals
- must have professional written and verbal communication skills
- physically fit enough for walking, jogging, handling of animals, stooping, bending and lifting
- computer/ laptop and administrative experience a plus!!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week

- Visits can be scheduled at any odd time of day (between 7am-9pm) and are not always back to back.
