About the Role :
We're seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager for Developer Experience and Ecosystem to join our team for TiDB Cloud. In this role, you will shape the future of our developer AI platform, delivering seamless experiences and growing our ecosystem. Your strategic mindset and technical acumen will help create a world-class environment where developers can thrive and innovate.
Responsibilities :
- Strategy & Vision : Define and execute the strategy for developer experience and ecosystem in TiDB Cloud. Create a clear product roadmap aligned with market trends, business goals, and developer needs.
- Product Management : Lead initiatives to improve developer onboarding, workflows, and productivity. Drive the development of SDKs, APIs, integrations, and documentation to make TiDB Cloud the most developer-friendly platform. Foster partnerships and integrate with third-party tools to expand TiDB Cloud's ecosystem.
- Cross-functional leadership : Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to translate market insights into actionable product requirements. Develop and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy for developer experience and ecosystem initiatives. Advocate for the developer community, and collaborate with community contributors and external partners to broaden the adoption of TiDB.
- Market Insights & Competitive Analysis : Conduct market research to understand current trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies. Identify opportunities and threats to maintain a competitive edge.
- Performance Metrics : Define KPIs to measure the impact of developer experience improvements and ecosystem growth. Continuously refine and iterate strategies based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications :
The annual anticipated base salary range for U.S. candidates for this role is USD $150k to $200k. The actual individual base pay will depend on various factors such as the complexity and responsibility of the role, work locations, job levels, and relevant experience and skills. This role is also eligible to participate in PingCAP's Bonus and Equity Plan, as well as our Sales Compensation Plan if it is a sales role. In order to comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges on all US job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Please note that actual salaries may vary and fall outside of this range depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, and competencies. Other benefits include health insurance, flexible vacation time, paid holidays, and parental leave. Salaries for candidates outside the U.S. will vary based on local compensation structures.
