Responsibilities:
The Billing Team Supervisor will supervise multiple billing professionals and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of service agreement setups, invoicing processes, and time entry billing systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our firm by managing billing discrepancies and improvements, while providing guidance and support to their team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and supervise a team of four to five billing staff members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Review and approve service agreement setups to ensure compliance with company standards and client specifications.
- Direct the invoicing process to guarantee accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Manage and refine time entry billing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies and irregularities.
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate best practices and optimize billing processes.
- Develop and implement training programs for billing staff that enhances skills and knowledge.
- Prepare and analyze reports on billing activities, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in billing, finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role with proven excellence in leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of billing and financial principles.
- Proven track record in successfully managing and implementing change within a team.
- Proficient in accounting software, client management systems, and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and protection of sensitive client information.

Compensation: In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $50,000 - $66,000/year.
