Job Overview
Pink Shell Resort is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic On-Call Banquets Server to join our dynamic Banquets team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a server, you will be responsible for serving food and beverages in a professional manner at assigned banquet functions per BMC standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Serves the guests in a professional and efficient manner
· Follows up on any reasonable requests while using proper serving techniques
· Removes dirty dishes from the tables as guests finish their meal or course
· Loads all dirty dishes from the banquet function on a cart and breakdown at the dish line
· Maintains open communication with the Kitchen staff
· Ensures station has proper set up
· Prepares and serves beverages for the function
· Checks the quality of food before serving
· Cleans up after the function; sweep, mop, clean dishes from table, put everything away
· Assists the set up staff in table set up; buffet set up, bar set up, etc.
· Completes all side work before end of shift
· Reviews the BEO's for menu details, special instructions, etc.
· Completes other tasks as assigned
Physical Demands:
To perform the essential job functions in this position it may require rigorous activity; grasping, writing, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods, walking, bending, stretching, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 30/40 pounds. Must be able to walk up and down stairs while carrying heavy items.
Work Environment:
This associate must be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time. The individual may frequently work in an outdoor climate.
