Job Overview
Pink Shell Resort is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.
Duties
- Greets customers and presents beverage menus in a prompt and professional manner
- Provides recommendations and answers all related inquiries
- Ensures identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age
- Receives orders from serving staff or directly from customers
- Records all orders Aloha system correctly
- Balances the bank at the start and close of each shift
- Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes
- Mixes and prepares fruits for garnishing drinks
- Serves food and beverage to customers seated at the bar
- Maintains and reports equipment problems as needed
- Complies with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies
- Monitors inventory
- Clears and resets tables in bar areas
- Performs side work during shift as well as at the start and end of each shift
- Maintains a clean service area
- Provides bill to guest and collects payment through Aloha system
- Ensures all opening and closing duties are performed to standard
- Declares tips according to IRS standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
