Position Summary :
PinkDx is seeking a motivated Scientist III, Product Development to join us in our journey to improve women’s health. This position will be responsible for developing NGS-based molecular diagnostic assays for use in clinical labs in collaboration with cross-functional groups. The successful candidate will have significant hands-on experience in advanced molecular genetic analysis technologies.
Essential Functions :
- Plans, designs, executes and interprets experiments enabling novel molecular diagnostic assays with minimal supervision.
- Ensures accurate and consistent recording of experimental methods, materials and results performed by self or others.
- Analyzes experimental results, forms conclusions, and recommends next steps with the consideration of implementation in production.
- Prepares written reports and presentations summarizing experimental results and project status.
- Presents experimental results and project status to cross-functional teams and upper management.
- Takes a leading role in producing research documentation, including project documents and milestones, protocols, template spreadsheets, reports, and regulatory submissions if needed.
- Collaborates with other functional groups including Data Analysis, Clinical Operation, Production and Regulatory.
- Interfaces with vendors, contract research organizations and / or contract manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure activities are conducted within internal and external guidelines and regulations.
- Performs work directly or supervises others in the conduct or performance of testing and evaluation.
