We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Parts Specialist to join our team. As a Parts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their automotive parts needs. Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts for their vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, providing product information, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our computerized inventory system
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as needed
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts for vehicle repairs
- Keep the parts department clean and organized for optimal efficiency
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product releases
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Familiarity with retail math and cash register operations
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
- Solid understanding of retail sales principles and techniques
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
