What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Project Manager (Remote) position at Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc.?
The Training Project Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will serve as a valued member of the Global Safety and Security (GSS) team. The Manager oversees training projects supporting GSS and the client's global workforce on topics related to workplace safety and physical security. This role combines project management with instructional design and eLearning development and contributes to the strategic direction of learning initiatives. This position can be based anywhere (remote) within the United States.
Essential Functions :
- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Manage and coordinate GSS staff and client workforce training documentation projects.
- Administer and monitor online training projects while ensuring timely completion, testing and feedback.
- Coordinate with internal LMS administrators to publish and manage corporate eLearning courses.
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective eLearning courses using Articulate360 (Rise and Storyline), or similar platform.
- Apply instructional design principles and industry-leading practices to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Incorporate multimedia elements such as video, animation, and gamification.
- Plan and manage live / virtual training events, including scheduling, webinar support, documentation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure instructional accuracy as well as training and program vendors to ensure seamless training delivery.
- Provide project management support for the L&D program including record-keeping, reporting, support request processing, and other related tasks.
- Contribute to various training-related projects and initiatives while gaining exposure to different aspects of L&D program management.
- Maintain and update existing eLearning content as needed.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications :
Bachelor's degree in the humanities or a related field with three to five years of experience in instructional design and development and management of corporate or commercial training products in large corporate environments. Rate of pay : $75000 - $82000 / year.
