Pinkerton’s is a newly opened bakery & café in Kingston, NY. We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join our retail counter team.
We are looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking individuals with a minimum of two years of customer service experience in a food-based establishment. Bakery, café, and/or restaurant experience is required. Candidates should have sales experience, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards. The position is a part time position with a minimum of two shifts a week required, with more shifts becoming available.
Responsibilities include assisting walk-in customers, answering the phone, packaging products, setting up for daily sales, and collaborating with the kitchen team to meet daily business needs. Other tasks will include making coffee, espresso drinks, and sometimes heating food in a small convection oven, washing dishes from the day's set up and service and cleaning the retail and customer areas. Candidates must be available for early morning shifts, and weekend shifts.
