Job Summary

This role is responsible for operating pressure washing equipment to clean a variety of surfaces, including buildings, driveways, decks, parking lots, and other exterior areas. This role involves ensuring safe, effective, and thorough cleaning while providing high-quality customer service. The technician will be expected to handle equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete projects on time while maintaining professional standards. Paid online & on-the-job training will be provided.

Technicians will also be expected to conduct effective in-neighborhood marketing efforts by door knocking, canvassing & promoting the Pinky’s Prowash brand while on the job via yard signs and door hanging fliers.

Key Responsibilities

Pressure Washing Operations:

• Set up, operate, and maintain pressure washing equipment to clean a variety of surfaces, including but not limited to concrete, wood, metal, and brick.
• Adjust equipment settings to ensure proper pressure and flow for various cleaning tasks.
• Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning agents as required for different types of surfaces and stains.
• Ensure thorough cleaning while protecting surfaces from damage.

Lead Generation:

• Technicians when applicable will be expected to generate leads within residential areas after completing scheduled jobs.
• Door to door estimate appointment setting will be the main source of lead generation but management is open to other avenues as applicable.

Customer Interaction:

• Communicate with customers to understand specific cleaning needs and offer recommendations when necessary.
• Address any concerns or questions the customer may have before, during, and after service.
• Provide a professional appearance and attitude while interacting with customers and the public.

Safety & Maintenance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of protective gear and proper handling of pressure washing equipment and chemicals.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure it operates efficiently.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and report major issues to management.

Site Preparation & Clean-Up:

• Prepare job sites by clearing obstacles, covering sensitive areas, and ensuring proper drainage.
• Safely store and transport all equipment and materials.
• Clean up the job site after completing each project, ensuring no debris or materials are left behind.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of daily tasks, including work completed and any customer concerns.
• Report any damage, issues, or customer feedback to management promptly.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve skills and knowledge of new cleaning techniques and equipment.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Previous experience in pressure washing, janitorial services, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with pressure washing equipment and cleaning chemicals is a plus.
• Previous experience operating large (F350) vehicles safely on public roads preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills

Skills:

• Ability to operate pressure washing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.

Certifications (if applicable):

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Any relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA safety training) are a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
• Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.

Compensation:

• $16-20/hr tips
• Incentives for lead generation & conversion
• Commission structure for on-the-job upsells
