Middle School Teacher

We are seeking a science teacher to join our middle school faculty for the 2025-2026 school year. Pinnacle Academy is a private school located in beautiful Lakewood Ranch, FL. Our program enhances student success by providing low teacher-to-student ratios (1:15 ratio), using multisensory learning approaches, and offering project-based learning opportunities. Candidates should be enthusiastic about teaching, being creative in the classroom, and hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a teaching certificate. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the state standards.
• Implement differentiated instructional strategies to ensure all students can access and master mathematical concepts.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of subject matter content.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
• Mobility: The role requires the ability to walk around the campus, which includes navigating uneven terrain.
• Physical Endurance: The position involves periods of standing and walking to monitor student activities and ensure safety across the school grounds.
• Outdoor Supervision: Supervise and engage with students in various outdoor settings, including during recess, physical education, and other extracurricular activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,500.00 - $50,500.00 per year
