GENERAL SUMMARY :
Edgewater Insurance has several locations through Nebraska and Kansas. The Blair location is exclusively a Crop Insurance Agency and Service Center with five licensed Agents. This position provides support for management in a variety of duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
- Answer incoming calls and direct calls to appropriate manager or voice mail. Take messages if needed.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for management.
- Opens mail and reviews.
- Assist with clerical duties including filing, copying, computer input.
- Assists with report preparation.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Seeing : 75 - 100%
Must be able to greet customers, read documents use computer
Hearing : 75% - 100%
Must be able to communicate with customers and co-workers
Standing / Walking : 25-49%
Climbing / Stooping / Kneeling : 25-49%
Lifting / Pulling / Pushing : 50-74%
Fingering / Grasping / Feeling : 75% - 100%

PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS :
Light Work : Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negotiable amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry or otherwise move objects. Job involves sitting most of the time and walking and standing some of the time.
