This position involves working at the front line of our bank, interacting with customers and handling various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, accepting loan payments, and selling negotiable instruments. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, balancing teller drawers, and performing other related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also have basic math skills and knowledge of general banking principles. Additionally, you will need to be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of your work.
Education and Experience:
A high school graduate or equivalent is required for this position. Furthermore, you will need to complete the courses outlined in the Teller Career Path Guidelines within the 90-day probation period after job acceptance.
