GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for the performance, image and growth of Bank. Responsible for loan quality and financial performance. Ensures integrity of bank services. Implements bank plans by planning, developing, directing and reviewing policies and practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Ensures acceptable quality and service are received throughout various banking processes by conferring with customers and by periodically participating in various processes. Supports and monitors sales processes.
- Implements bank business plan by planning developing, directing and reviewing financial policies and practices of bank to ensure regulatory compliance, financial objectives, goals and institutional growth are achieved.
- Maintains commercial loan portfolio. Serves as member of loan committee. May chair committee in absence of chairman.
- Directs activities of bank management personnel by conducting performance appraisals, training, handling problems and discipline, and by making administrative decisions regarding unique situations. Oversees that goals are met on the sales program.
- Maintains current industry knowledge by reading various publications and correspondence. Participates in product pricing and marketing of the bank’s products.
- Attends bank president meetings and completes projects and presentations as requested.
- Participates in civic and community organizations, representing the bank, but following personal interests. Promotes the bank whenever possible.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

- Knowledge of finance, investments, and lending practices and principles.
- Knowledge of accounting and economic practices and principles.
- Knowledge of bank operations and workflow.

- Skill in communicating with co-workers and various business contacts in a
- courteous and professional manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- College degree preferred
- Prefer 10 years banking experience and 5 years management experience.
