Business Relationship Banker
The Business Relationship Banker is responsible for establishing, retaining and deepening customer relationships by performing efficient and accurate banking transactions, opening and closing accounts in support of Bank goals and objectives, and making inside/outside calls on new and existing customers.
Responsibilities for Business Relationship Banker:
- Responsible for generating business and deepening customer relationships
- Evaluate customers’ financial needs in order to provide banking solutions, including referring them to the appropriate bank personnel as needed
- Responsible for all aspects of the account opening process; including checking accounts, CD's and IRA's
- Responsible for the maintenance and servicing of existing accounts
- Identify the needs of new and existing customers and offer appropriate services to assist the Bank in deposit growth, business relationship growth, and consumer relationship growth
- Answer questions and customer concerns regarding checking and savings accounts
- Resolves client complaints and error resolution in a timely manner
- Exhibits excellent time management skills
- Assist in community awareness events to increase bank outreach and foster new business opportunities
- Compliance with regulations and Bank security program requirements
- Input consumer loan information into loan system for processing purposes
- Ability to process small commercial loans
- Assist with teller transactions as needed
Qualifications for Business Relationship Banker:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or professional certificate in Accounting, Finance or Business is preferred
- Prior banking experience or experience in sales and customer service is a plus
- Knowledge of banking rules and regulations
- Ability to maintain a professional, courteous demeanor even under high-pressure circumstances
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Well developed sales skills (probing, supporting, overcoming objections, closing)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to listen and assess the needs of the customer
- Ability to use time and resources efficiently in order to accomplish tasks
- Experience in efficient personal organization and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience seeking to improve and develop new process and ideas related to daily banking tasks
- Team player
Salary : $35,100 - $44,500
