Full-Time Teller Position
Location: Jasper, AL, 35501
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Teller to join our team at our Jasper, AL location, Main Branch. The Teller will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and promoting bank products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions
- Process cash and check transactions accurately and efficiently
- Balance cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift
- Posting night deposits and mail postings
- Applying loan payments and payoff to loan accounts
- Handling official and cashier checks
- Promote bank products and services to customers
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Answer phone inquiries from customers, greeting and offering assistance to all customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in banking or customer service preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
