Pinnacle Home Care, Florida’s award-winning and largest privately-owned home health agency is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate healthcare professionals to join our team of skilled home heath care providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing quality care to our patients in their homes.
As part of our dynamic team, you will:
- Complete the final episode billing audits.
- Assist with all final billing including Medicare and Non-Medicare bills.
- Assist with billing audits and order tracking as needed.
- Provide on-going follow-up on delayed reimbursement.
- Review and corrects billing errors in a timely manner.
- Assist with insurance authorizations as needed.
- Coordinate and process patient authorization to completion with precision, detail, and accuracy.
- Be detail-oriented, possess the ability to multi-task and be opened to cross-functionally training in all departments.
- Meet productivity goals as assigned by the Authorization Supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information. Comply with all state and local laws and regulations. Adhere to established confidentiality standards as required by Pinnacle Home Care
- Obtain and track all authorization and re-authorization as indicated from payer(s), scheduled visits for services ordered/requested in a timely manner.
- Communicate with branches, and eligibility when patient insurance has changed.
- Comply with HIPAA regulations on all accounts.
- Respond to all inquiries with a resolution to concerns and or discrepancies.
- Follow Pinnacle Home Care's Attendance Policy.
Education and/or Experience: One year of medical office experience is preferred. Home health experience is desirable.
