The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing quality care to our patients in their homes.
POSITION SUMMARY
The HHA provides personal care and related services in the home, under the direction, instruction, and supervision of an RN and/or the CM. Tasks performed by an HHA must be assigned by and performed under the supervision of an RN who will be responsible for the patient care provided by the HHA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Responsibilities of the HHA include providing hands-on personal care with the following:
-Planning and preparing nutritious meals
-Assisting in feeding the patient, if necessary
-Travel to patients’ homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations to provide care, and treatment and to fulfill other responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
-HHA Certificate (75-hour) or CNA certification in the state of Florida
-Current BLS Certification
-Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements
-This position requires that the employee is willing and able to meet the physical requirements as necessary.
