Production Planner needed!!!

Job Description :

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Planner to join their team. Our client is a leading manufacturer in the tech industry. The Production Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective manufacturing process by coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and working closely with production, supply chain, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure on-time delivery and avoid production delays.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure the availability of raw materials and components required for production.
  • Track inventory levels, reorder materials, and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, or delays in a proactive and effective manner.
  • Work closely with the operations and warehouse teams to ensure smooth flow of materials and finished products.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and reduce production costs.
  • Prepare regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the production process.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or related roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, inventory management, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and production planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure to meet deadlines.
