Human Resource Manager : The Human Resource (HR) Manager is responsible for the overall administration of the human resource functions. Under the direction of the Director of Corporate Operations, the HR Manager is responsible for the development, evaluation, and implementation of people related services, policies, programs, and the daily operations of the human resources functions. The HR Manager is expected to actively participates in the recruitment and staffing processes, talent management and organizational development, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, compliance and record keeping, human resources data and systems as well as all other human resources functions. This is a non-supervisory position and works in a collaborative fashion with one additional human resources staff member.
Major Responsibilities :
Recruits, screens applications and resumes, conducts and coordinates interviews, and tests candidates in order to fill vacant positions.
Communicates necessary information to candidates throughout the hiring process including conducting background and reference checks.Drafts offer letters in conjunction with Chief Financial Officer within established guidelines.Talent Management & Organizational DevelopmentResponsible for facilitating training provided to Company staff regarding human resources policies and practices , leadership development, and employee engagement.
Responsible for new employee orientation and onboarding processes in a collaborative fashion with Corporate Operations Staff and Directors.Responsible for the maintenance and tracking of records relating to professional development and new employee training.Responsible for staff enrollment in employee professional development courses as needed through the Learning Management System (LMS).Responsible for company-wide professional development plans (PDPs) and training events as directed by the Director of Corporate Operations.Serves as a trusted advisor to the Director of Corporate Operations and Executive Leadership Team on workforce planning, career progression, and Human Resources Best Practices.Assists in designing and refining the performance management frameworks, ensuring alignment with company goals and vision.Compensation, Benefits and Total Rewards AdministrationCollaborates with leadership to evaluate and enhance compensation structures, benefit packages, and retirement plans.Responsible for administration of health and welfare plans, 401k, and all other benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Responsible for processes and records management of benefits plans participation such as insurance and 401k .Provides guidance on pay equity, market trends, and total rewards strategies that align with company objectives.Employee RelationsActs as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including grievances, accommodations, and disputes.Facilitates internal investigations, disciplinary processes, and employee performance management cases with fairness and legal compliance.Paid Leave AdministrationResponsible for the maintenance, tracking, coordination, and recording of paid and unpaid leave requests.
Responsible for leave of absence administration including FMLA, Colorado FAMLI, ADA accommodations, and workers compensation claims.Compliance and Records ManagementResponsible for ensuring policies, procedures, and reporting comply with federal and state and local law.Responsible for the maintenance and retention of records including but not limited to benefits plans and retirement plans participation, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.HR Systems, Data Analytics, and Process OptimizationEnsure HRIS systems are maintained accurately, supporting data integrity and compliance reporting.Analyze HR Metrics to identify workforce trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.Develop efficiency strategies for optimizing HR workflows, employee records management, and reporting capabilities.General HRResponsible for responding to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and participating in the employee review process, separation process, and exit interview process.May draft offer letters, separation letters, and related documents as requested by the Director of Corporate Operations.Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvements to the Director of Corporate Operations and contributes towards the resolution of problems.Maintains relationships and contracts with outside suppliers / vendors to provide employee services such as temporary employees, search firms or relocation services as needed.Supports and provides lateral leadership to HR staff in the meeting of department goals, objectives, and system proficiency.Other duties as assignedMay be assigned special projects throughout the year in conjunction with Company goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives.Supervises : This is a non-supervisory position.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Management required, and 5 years' experience in the field of Human Resources.High-level knowledge of employment laws and practices.Experience Preferred :
Experience working with a corporate employment law attorney preferred.Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources processes preferred.Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations preferred.Human Resources certification(s)preferred.Equipment : Must be able to operate computer, fax machine, copier, telephone, motor vehicle.
