Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Role and Responsibilities
- Installs, maintains, repairs, removes, or retrofits antenna systems equipment and power systems to maintain operational communications
- Ability to use a compass; Set Azimuths and Down tilts based on specifications
- Providing superior customer service ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner
- Adhering to all Company and industry (i.e., OSHA, NATE) standards/regulations
- Effective utilization of available resources, technology, and tools to complete work
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Knowledge to identify, select and utilize the proper cables, ropes, block and tackle for rigging and lifting
- Maintains clean, safe and orderly environment
- Properly follows all safety procedures and policies
- Tower climbing, rigging, stacking self-support towers, install waveguide, antennas, microwave dishes, FCC lighting and cable ladders etc.
- Perform Anritsu sweep and PIM testing, grounding specifications, setting azimuth and testing all aspects of a wireless communication site.
- Report to Tower Foreman for day-to-day activities
- Current Com Train or equivalent certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue Certification Required.
- Must have minimum OSHA certification.
- Must have experience with Anritsu Site Master, Andrew, PPC, tower mapping and antenna equipment.
- Must have experience stacking self-support towers, install waveguide, antennas and microwave dishes.
- Com Train, OSHA trained, safety trained, Anritsu certified and First AID/CPR trained
- RF Awareness, replacement and maintenance i.e. coax, jumpers, TMA’s, connectors and weatherproof
- Highly organized and able to effectively report verbally and written reports back to the Tower Foreman.
- Industry certifications including first aid, CPR, tower rescue, man lift operation, etc. helpful.
- Must be able to travel extensively as well as working overtime as required within the United States.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work well in a crew environment.
- Computer literate including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and internet.
- Technical or Military Communications training a plus.
- Understanding of TDM and Ethernet structural characteristics.
- Understanding of DC and basic AC power.
- Computer skills should include use of Microsoft Office, Telnet, and HyperTerminal.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and block diagrams for installation and troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong customer and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay on task independently and work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in deadline oriented environment
- Must be organized with a strong attention to detail and self-starter, team player
- * Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Availability to work irregular hours and/or respond to emergency call-outs on a 24 hour basis.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the state.
- Applicant/Employee’s weight and tools combined may not exceed 280-pound weight limit as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment.
- Applicant/Employee’s waist circumference must not exceed 60 inches measured at the navel as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment.
