We are seeking a seasoned ERP Project Manager with experience implementing systems such as Prophet 21, EPICOR, Global Shop, or Acumatica. This role will lead the implementation of our new ERP system at our facility Kentucky. Ideally, the candidate will also bring leadership experience at the IT Senior Manager or Director level to provide broader technical guidance during the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full-cycle ERP implementation (Prophet 21, EPICOR, Global Shop, or Acumatica) - Either tool is fine.
- Develop and oversee project scope, deliverables, schedules, and resources
- Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technical teams
- Manage project risks, budgets, timelines, and change control processes
- Ensure data integrity during migration and support business process alignment
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on project status and key decisions
- (If dual role) Support IT operations strategy, infrastructure, and systems alignment with ERP integration
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing at least one ERP implementation with Prophet 21, EPICOR, Floor Shop, or Acumatica
- 5 years of ERP project management experience in IT or operational settings
- 7 years in IT roles with at least 3 in a leadership or senior capacity (for dual role consideration)
- PMP certification or similar is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Must be available for on-site work in Kentucky
Preferred Qualifications:
- ERP vendor selection and negotiation experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics sectors
- Background in IT infrastructure, systems integration, and change management
- Familiarity with shop floor systems and operational workflows
