The ideal candidate MUST have:
- Must have a minimum 2 year experience working in a dental office as receptionist / front desk staffer
- Good computer skills and experience with dental practice management software
- Excellent phone etiquette when dealing with new and current patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, cheerful, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to deal sensitively and effectively with patients
- Available to work Saturdays
Responsibilities will include
· Answer phone calls and scheduling appointments
· Check-in patients and ensuring all of the required information is obtained and entered into the system
· Check-out patients, collecting payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments
· Verify dental benefits and update this information in the system
· Confirm appointments and recall in line with office protocol
· Enter procedure codes in the system and putting together/presenting treatment plans
· Effectively communicate with clinical staff and providing support when needed
This role must be able to work from 8AM – 5PM 2-4 days a week, including Saturdays

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Dental receptionist: 1 year (Required)
