Position: Hygiene Assistant
Location: Monroe, MI
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dental hygienist during patient appointments, ensuring efficient and comfortable care.
- Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments and materials.
- Sterilize and organize dental instruments following office protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques as directed by the hygienist or dentist.
- Take and develop digital X-rays as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the hygiene department.
- Support the front desk with patient scheduling and check-in/check-out as needed.
Qualifications:
- X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
