What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Pinnacle Dietary Global?
Job Duties:
- Prepares and serves food according to menus and in correct portion sizes as mandated by yield guides.
- Perform various job flows as needed and directed by DDS.
- Will help plan weekly meals, prepare, and chop ingredients.
- Keeps food preparation areas sanitized and orderly.
- Performs cleaning duties, including sweeping, and mopping of floors, cleaning of equipment and work areas, dishwashing, and pot washing.
- Brews coffee, fills beverage machines, sets up hot and/or cold food areas.
- Stores silverware, dishes, glasses, cups, pots, etc.
- Collects and strips trays for dishwashing and participates in ware washing if assigned.
- Delivers, when necessary, food to staff, patients, and catering events.
- Complies with all state, Federal, local health department requirements for safe food handling
- Complies with all client location security protocols and guidelines.
- Checks and stores incoming supplies.
- Follows assigned break schedules; work weekends, evenings and holidays are required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed.
- Time management skills.
- Attention to detail and sanitation rules.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Serve Safe Certification
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- May be required work in excessive heat and cold in association with the kitchen environment.
