About the Role
The Clinical Assistant plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and enhancing patient care by providing both administrative and clinical support. This role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Assistant assists with patient preparation, manages medical records, and performs basic clinical tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals, contributing directly to efficient clinic operations and improved patient experiences.
We are seeking a Clinical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Advanced Fertility Care, located in Tucson, Arizona. This is a full-time, onsite position, working Monday-Friday, from 7:15 AM - 4:15 PM with occasional Sundays required.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive experience.
- Prepare examination rooms, maintain equipment, and ensure cleanliness.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Record patient information and maintain accurate medical records.
- Schedule patient appointments, manage correspondence, and handle phone inquiries.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications as directed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide patient education on procedures, medications, and follow-up care.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies.
- Other duties and project as assigned
Position Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, or Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
