The Phlebotomist position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with the patient throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.
We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our dedicated team at Seattle Reproductive Medicine, located in Kirkland, WA. This is a full-time position, working Monday- Friday, 7:00am- 4:15pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to collect blood samples from patients of all ages.
- Properly identify patients, label samples, and ensure accurate patient information is recorded.
- Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing and transport them according to protocol.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all infection control and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to provide clear instructions and ensure comfort during procedures.
- Manage inventory of phlebotomy supplies and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Assist with patient check-in, scheduling, and updating medical records as needed.
- Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate test results.
- Adhere to all laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.
- Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential from the Washington State Department of Health.
- National phlebotomy certification (e.g., ASCP, NHA) preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent and current CPR certification.
- Proven competency in blood draws and phlebotomy tasks through supervised clinical training.
- Ability to maintain credential renewal every two years.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$22.00-$30.00 per hour
The compensation range for this position is between $22.00 and $30.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications.
