Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC., Atlanta, GA., Birmingham, AL., or Nashville, TN. (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 Month of Project (Temp to Hire)

Pay Rate: $70/hr. $78/hr. on W2 (without benefit) [based on experience]

Key Responsibilities:

• Take on a lead role or serve as the most senior member in a small team of 4, overseeing QA/test automation efforts.
• Lead and mentor the team in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Utilize TOSCA and Qtest for test automation and test management.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to understand requirements and ask relevant questions to ensure testing aligns with business needs.
• Work within an Agile environment, contributing to sprints and iterations.
• Perform regular monitoring of work to ensure testing standards are met and quality is maintained.
• Conduct data health checks, with training provided for individuals new to this process.
• Support frontend development testing efforts, ensuring a comprehensive approach to automation.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests with development workflows.

Top Skills & Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in QA/Test Automation, with a proven track record of leading testing efforts.
• Experience with TOSCA and Qtest for automation and test management.
• Solid background in test automation within Agile environments.
• Experience working closely with Product Owners to clarify and test requirements.
• Knowledge of frontend development and how it integrates with automated testing.
• Experience in monitoring work to ensure high standards of quality and productivity.
• Willingness and ability to learn and train others in performing data health checks.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of SQL for querying databases and testing data integrity.
• Experience working with data in testing contexts.

Interview Process:

• 30-minute screening or introductory interview to assess fit and behavior.
• 30-minute technical interview with the technical panel to evaluate relevant technical skills..
