What are the responsibilities and job description for the Charge Nurse RN position at Pinnacle Group of Hudson Valley Ltd?
Schedule Available:
- Overnights
- Must participate in weekend on call rotations
- Manage resident care needs according to care plans,
- Supervising and coaching staff on shift to ensure standards of care are met
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
- Accurately document and maintain accurate records of medical information, care plans, and incidents to ensure regulatory compliance and consistency of care.
- Communicate effectively with residents and residents' families
- Advocate for residents' rights and preferences, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in all aspects of care.
- Participate in on call weekend rotations approximately every 6-8 weeks and 2 out of 3 of major holidays per year
- Current Maine RN licensure
- Experience working as a nurse manager/supervisor
