Recreation/ Activity Director

Coastal Manor in Yarmouth, Maine is seeking a full-time Recreation/Activities Director for our 39-bed skilled and long-term care center.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the activities program for our community.
• Network with the local community to establish relationships and resources for the benefit of the residents.
• Evaluate the recreational needs of each resident and create a care plan to meet those needs.
• Participates in the interdisciplinary team care plan meetings and our quality improvement program.
• Involve residents and families in planning the activity program
  
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Activities Professional or Occupational Therapist certification is preferred. The facility will sponsor the right candidate for Activity Professional Certification.
• 2 Years experience in the long-term care setting preferred.
