What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduler/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position at Pinnacle Group of Hudson Valley Ltd?
Pinnacle Health and Rehab at North Berwick is seeking a full time Scheduler/CNA to work days, Monday - Friday and occassional weekends as needed. The Scheduler/CNA is responsible for:
Effective communications skills with employees and administration.
High degree of integrity in all communications & actions in and outside the facility.
Complete nursing department schedules for all shifts on a monthly basis to ensure adequate coverage is available. Post the schedules after review is complete and approval is obtained from Asst Director/Director of Nursing no later than one week prior to the following month, and ensure they are updated and kept accurate throughout the month with changes.
Post the daily staffing numbers using the specified forms daily by the main entrance.
Complete daily staffing sheets (white sheets) at least a week in advance and give copies for the week Monday-Monday to DNS each Monday for review.
Complete the weekend staffing sheets no later than Wed. for the upcoming weekend and submit to the DNS as well as the Nursing supervisor on call for the weekend no later than Wed. for review. Post the weekend schedule by the time clock and at each nurse’s station every Friday.
Receive any call outs while on duty and attempt to fill vacant slots with qualified staff.
Involvement in recruiting, prescreening, and hiring potential nursing employees. Conduct reference checks and document such on appropriate forms.
Provide floor coverage when needed.

Education/Experience:
- Current Certified Nurses Aide in the State of Maine
- Experience working in the nursing home setting preferred.
- Scheduling experience preferred but not required.
