The firm manages capital across multiple asset classes and offers sophisticated, customized solutions to a select group of ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth clients.
Opportunity:
The investment firm is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) to join its Investment Advisory Services (IAS) team in Boston. The CPM will play a key role in collaborating with investment professionals, client advisors, and clients to deliver exceptional portfolio management and wealth advisory services. This role involves responding to client needs and managing client portfolio requirements across various asset classes, including fixed income, public equities, hedge funds, credit, real assets, private equity, and venture capital, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients, investment team, and client advisors to execute investment programs, ensuring the timely delivery of trades, documents, subscriptions, and other materials
- Lead the preparation of client reports, coordinating input from the investment team, and addressing bespoke client inquiries as needed
- Monitor client portfolios to ensure optimal cash management, adherence to portfolio guidelines, and identify areas requiring further discussion or research
- Communicate directly with clients to address inquiries, explain investment performance, and provide updates on investment strategies
Qualifications:
- 2–6 years of professional experience, including private wealth management, investing, investment banking, sales & trading, or consulting
- Experience working with clients to implement or explain investment programs at an investment manager, endowment, family office, OCIO, private wealth manager, or consultancy is essential
- Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills, with an understanding of public and private markets
- Maturity, commitment to client service, and an interest in financial markets and investing
