Accurately obtain and verify insurance benefits available for potential and existing patients, utilizing various systems.
- Performs tasks like : Contacting insurance companies via telephone to verify patient coverage and obtain information concerning the extent of benefits; Confirming with insurance companies that authorizations and pre-certifications have been obtained and follows up with any pending authorizations / pre-certs in a timely manner; Communicates the findings of the verification process in a timely manner to necessary team members, patient (or responsible party), physicians office, etc.;
