Requirements:
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, outgoing, and team-oriented. They will be responsible for delivering comprehensive diagnostic services and amplification solutions, including hearing aid assessment testing and real-ear measurements. A passion for working with hearing aid technology and a strong desire to improve lives through hearing aid solutions are essential. Familiarity with teleaudiology is a valuable asset.
Skills Expected:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations to diagnose hearing loss and assess auditory function
- Develop and implement individualized hearing aid treatment plans through counseling, education, and ongoing patient support
- Recommend, fit, and program prescription hearing aids based on patients' communication needs and audiometric results
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, manage patient records, and assist with administrative tasks, including phone consultations and reporting
- Serve as a representative of the practice at community outreach events, physician networking meetings, and health screenings
- Collaborate with the Audiology Director to ensure clinical quality and oversee best practices in patient management
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, effectively communicating audiological findings with medical specialists to coordinate further diagnostic testing, including blood work, cultures, and imaging
