Company Overview
Pinnacle Home Services is hiring for a Foundation Repair Specialist. The Company provides outstanding foundation services for a wide range of customers throughout the Sacramento and East Bay Area Region.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the training and quality control to have the production field crew function at the highest level. Manages and organizes the production job site to maximize efficiency for crew time management as well as keeping adequate logs, paperwork, and costs to a functioning standard. Keeps crew personnel trained on product data, proper procedures, and final project completeness quality. Is responsible for installation of given projects according to quality standards and job specifications.
Manages foundation repair crew, ensures equipment and products are safe and functional, and that job schedules are maintained. Supports the management and mission of the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Communicate with project’s point of contact (homeowner).
a. Keeping updated daily logs complete and accurate
b. Keep updated photos in Company Cam daily.
c. Informing homeowner of any changes to the scope of work of their project
d. Discussing projected outcomes and expectations for the project
2. Communicate with office point of contact (Project Scheduler and/or Production Manager)
a. Verify that crew’s time clocks are accurate to federal standards
b. Informing of any material and/or equipment that is needed to complete project
c. Turning in all company credit card receipts
d. Turning in Job Folders at completion of a project
e. Capable of operating all equipment in a safe manner to complete project to a satisfactory condition.
f. Manage crew efficiency and productivity
INDIVIDUAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
UNDERPINNING
a. Layout pier locations
b. Layout concrete RnR (if applicable)
c. Locate all utilities in area of work
d. Protect surrounding work area
e. Excavate pier locations
f. Install pier bracket system
g. Drive pipe to adequate depth and drive pressure (Schedule deputy inspector if applicable)
h. Schedule city and engineering inspections (If applicable)
i. Prepare pier system for load transfer and/or lift
j. Measure and verify floor elevations from previously provided source
k. Lift or stabilize structure
l. Lock off pier at desired level
m. Schedule or perform polyurethane void fill for structure
n. Repair or schedule the repair of any pipes that have been compromised
o. Backfill and compact excavated pier locations
p. Pour back concrete, if applicable
q. Clean up job site
r. Schedule city/county final inspection
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, and TALENTS:
1. Knowledge of construction, concrete or related principles and practices.
2. Expert in foundation systems and procedures including piers, anchors, carbon fiber stitching, stem wall repair.
3. Skill in logic and math.
4. Ability to interpret complex information or instructions into understandable job specifications, measurements, instructions and standards.
5. Ability to communicate with subordinates about job generalities and specifics—to give instruction.
6. Ability to motivate, guide and direct others to produce expected production outcomes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly or to move objects. Ability to stand, bend and kneel for long periods.

Pay: $75,000 - $95,000 per year / Pay to include salary and bonus structure

Experience:
Installing Push Piers / Helical Piers / Screw Jacks : 2 years (Required)
