Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough health assessments and physical examinations of patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer injections and perform necessary procedures as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in outpatient settings to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Practice Fusion or similar electronic health record systems.
- Participate in utilization review processes to ensure effective patient management.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health conditions and preventive measures.
- Stay current with best practices in nursing, including basic life support protocols.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
- Must be able to work independently
- Proficient in administering injections and performing basic procedures.
- Familiarity with outpatient care practices is highly desirable.
- Experience with utilization review processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems, particularly Pactice Fusion, is advantageous.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Previous experience in Urgent Care setting is desireable but not required.
