Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. The FNP will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients' health status.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, including urgent care situations.
- Perform routine procedures such as administering vaccines, drawing blood, and managing vital signs.
- Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with specialists in areas such as Gastroenterology and Hospice palliative medicine for comprehensive patient care.
- Administer dermal fillers and other aesthetic treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Practice Fusion.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner studies.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized certifying body.
- Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
- Valid DEA license.
- Experience in urgent care or primary care settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
