Job Summary :
The Digital Specialist is an event AV production role that focuses on computer-based and cloud-based workflows and is adept in managing various Event Tech platforms.
Onsite, this role is responsible for the successful setup, operation, and strike of one or more digital solutions for an assigned job / project. These solutions can include streaming, capture, video conferencing, audience response systems, presentation management, digital signage, and other computer-driven technologies.
Offsite, this role operates a virtual event control room for a variety of online events. They will often launch an event, welcome the speakers, manage shared content, cue talent, manage chat / Q&A, and then finally close the event; all while paying attention to audio / video quality across a diverse set of remote speakers.
The Digital Specialist will often be called upon to configure and QC cloud-based event technology platforms ahead of an event.
