All of our business partnerships come from recommendations from our long-time satisfied customers.Pinnacle is growing and is looking for good people to join our Audio Visual Engineer Team!At Pinnacle every role matters.Our Core Values : Integrity, Commitment and TeamworkResponsibilitiesThis role entails overseeing and managing the audio visual engineering & design department, as well as managing the day-to-day workflow and tasks of the department and engineers below you. You will also be responsible for helping to develop processes and procedures for the engineering department (based on Infocomm / Avixa best practices).Other expected tasks include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Develop detailed BOM, detailed infrastructure drawings for architect, GC and electrical contractor use, and create final engineering drawings for rack layout, system wiring and custom plates or cabling assemblies.
- Interface & maintain ongoing dialogue for projects with Clients, Sales, CAD, and technical operation team members.
- Provide documentation for quotes & bid packages detailing equipment, cost, labor estimates, pre-installation requirements, and site survey results.
- Assist in the preparation of consultant specified bids and submittals
- Assist and perform client site visits for initial surveys, ongoing technical assessment, and support for technical operations during integration, install, & commissioning
- Assist programmer with technical direction when developing user interfaces & control programs.
- Create, and manage change orders to assist with maintaining or increasing profitability on projects.
- Assist with technical oversight, red lines, and design questions during integration & commissioning of systems.
- Capture field mark ups and assist with generating As-Built drawings sets for the final design package.Qualifications
- Industry education and experience required
- Minimum ( 5 ) years direct related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and use sound judgment when addressing potentially volatile issues
- Ability to operate as part of a team
- Aggressive, Self Motivated drive to enhance overall industry knowledge
- Create understandable and thorough Scopes of Work
- Basic Networking
- Proficient with Computers and Troubleshooting
- Travel may be required throughout employment
- Must possess ability to pay attention to detail
- Work well in busy and fast paced environment
- Experience in Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and AutoCAD
- Experience with Crestron Toolbox, Biamp Tesira / Audia / Nexia, Polycom SoundStructure Studio, Extron Global Configurator.
