What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver/Warehouse Worker position at Pinnacle Logistics?
Pinnacle Logistics is a leading provider of surface transportation, supply chain management, and related logistics services. We manage the shipments to and from over 40 freight terminals every day. We are growing rapidly and looking for enthusiastic, positive and talented people to join our team.
Shift: Evening
Pay Rate: $16.00 to $19.00 Hourly
Start time will be around 16:00. Mon-Fri
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
- Move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a forklift operator in a distribution center or warehouse setting
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers and hi-lo machines
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order fulfillment
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment
