Responsibilities :
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Serve and assist residents in the dining room during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Communicate effectively with the care team, including nurses and other caregivers to ensure seamless communication about resident's needs or concerns.
- Monitor residents for any change in condition, such as suspected illness, falls, or other signs of distress.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Follow resident care plans and adhere to all resident right policies.
- Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in caregiving or senior care is preferred.
- Prior experience with memory care residents is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic toward seniors.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
General Working Conditions :
While working 12-hour shifts, our caregivers spend a lot of time standing. Shift times are from 6 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm or 6 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 am.
Shifts vary, but we hire with the expectation that our aides are open to working rotating weekends and holidays.
