POSITION SUMMARY
The objective of this position is to provide support to the Director of Maintenance & Engineering by managing project documentation / drawings, facilitating information flow, obtaining approvals, making orders / change orders, reviewing plans, contracts, managing change events, and similar tasks. Pinnacle Oil project engineer manages and evaluate aspects of capital investment and improvement projects of fixed assets in project management software accurately and timely for installation process, assisting in task creation, track progress, ordering, execution and closing of the project.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
This is a comprehensive list, but not limited to :
- Planning, coordinating, and managing resources to ensure project tasks are fulfilled and meet set objectives that were defined within the approved scope and timeline.
- Manage change control related to project scope deviation and ensuring senior management approval for deviation.
- Complete final report on all projects and ensure it is circulated to all stakeholders.
- Utilized basic project management tools and software for progress review and successful startup.
- Ensure project scope and milestones are achieved within the agreed cost and timing.
- Ensure the validity of all safety, quality, environmental, energy, line efficiency requirements at the closing of all projects.
- Create schedules and submittal logs according to specifications for approval.
- Create and track the cost impact on any design changes and / or change events. Create Change Orders for approval or deny when applicable
- Enter punch list items in current project software to track the status.
- Responsible for activities associated with equipment selection and procurement, as well as recommended OEM preventive maintenance tasks and spare parts that will be passed to the maintenance team.
- Ensure the technicians, operators, supervisors and team leaders are properly trained on newly installed equipment, modified equipment or newly developed processes.
- Evaluate contracts & bids for contractor selection and oversees contractor activities associated with equipment delivery, installation / modifications.
- Be part of the team reviewing machine modification designs, plant layout changes, and new equipment selection.
