Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital in North Scottsdale is adding a part-time or full-time experienced Veterinary Technician to our team. Our hospital is routed in the community and our clients and team members are like family.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous veterinary experience REQUIRED with a good knowledge of veterinary medicine
• Previous anesthesia, surgical preparation and assistance experience is REQUIRED
• Previous dentistry experience REQUIRED
• Passion for learning & caring for animals
• Team player who is willing to take initiative to jump in and help the team
• Self starter
• Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Cornerstone knowledge is a plus (not required)
• Outstanding client service and exceptional patient care

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Support DVM, Tech and CSR teams
• Patient care
• Triage of patients
• Collection and analysis of lab samples
• Diagnostic imaging
• Management and nursing care of hospitalized pets
• Administration of enteral and parenteral medications
• Effective communication with team members and clients
• An understanding of veterinary medicine including vaccines and preventative protocols
• Surgery and Dentistry Support
• Most importantly: loving what you do

Job Type: Part-time (under 30 hours) or Full-time (over 30 hours)

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
